Used dataset : The initial data was took from the archive data bank of the Black Sea ship's vertical temperature and salinity profiles.

Method and (software ) used for map creation : The initial data were gridded using Kriging method with a search radius of 5 degrees and the 8 nearest points. The steps of grid were 0.50 degree in longitude and 0.33 degree in latitude The gridded field was smoothed using weghting of the adjacent 14 nearest points. The map was created and edited as result of collaboration of State Oceanographical Institute,Department of Catrography and Geoinformatics of Moscow State University and Institute of Biology of Southern Seas (Ukranian National Academy of Sciences,Sevastopol).
